I was born and grew up in Binh Duong province, South of Vietnam. Completing my undergraduate studies at National Art School in Darlinghurst, Sydney in 2009 and postgraduate at University of New South Wales Art & Design in 2013. I work mostly with photography and recently installation and sculpture.
Inspired by my own experiences of being in between different cultures, my work is often concerned with the ideas of displacement and identity. I am interested in the interrelationship between audience and I as an outsider and an insider of a particular culture. My recent work engages with audience in site-specific installation as this explores the term out of place physically and mentally in terms of cultural dimensions.
